In this study, in a leadership development environment, 26 participants undertook the Dharma Life Program. Prior to and after the Dharma Life Program intervention, we measured their but emotional and social intelligence using the Inventory of Emotional and Social Competency (ESCI). The analysis found a major improvement in the lowest three competencies and a noticeable improvement for the whole sample in almost all domains. Our results indicate that the completion of the Dharma Life Curriculum has a substantial positive impact on the ratings of emotional and social skills and provides a new way of developing emotional intelligence skills.
